LA DOLCE BOLLA IS BEST BAR IN BUCKS & OXON

Pop the corks – the secret’s out! La Dolce Bolla has officially been named Best Bar in Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire in the 2025 Muddy Stilettos Awards, and we’re fizzing with joy.

After over half a million votes were cast by Muddy’s readers, our little slice of Italy on Marlow High Street bubbled to the top, beating some seriously stylish competition including Heidrun (High Wycombe), JoJo’s (Oxford), Monty’s (our lovely neighbours in Marlow), and The Keep (Wallingford).

What started as a dream – to bring real Prosecco to the UK – has turned into something truly special. When our founder Kristyna Weston opened La Dolce Bolla in July 2024, she didn’t just open a bar. She created a space for discovery, celebration, and connection. A place where wine is elegant, bubbles are fine, and every glass tells a story – one that often starts in the UNESCO-listed hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, fifty kilometres north of Venice.

“I opened La Dolce Bolla to give people something new – the kind of Prosecco that Italians are proud of, not the fizzy sugar many Brits have been stuck with,” says Kristyna. “I never imagined how many of you would fall in love with it too.”

With its chic interiors, relaxed outdoor terrace, and a calendar that’s always buzzing – think DJ sets, flower-arranging evenings, networking sessions, live music and tastings – La Dolce Bolla quickly became a local favourite. And let’s not forget the delicious antipasti boards: brimming with Sicilian olives, Prosciutto Crudo, Gorgonzola Dolce, Parmigiano Reggiano with balsamic drizzle and more.

In July, La Dolce Bolla will host the UK’s first ever premium Prosecco festival, right here in Marlow! Picture this: sun-dappled gardens (hopefully), live music, artisan bites, and a journey through Italy’s finest fizz – with the producers themselves pouring your glass.
